Combined Immunotherapy May Improve Survival in Mesothelioma

Researchers from the Vaccine and Immunotherapy Center (VIC) at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) have found that the combined treatment of the two drugs – one immune modulator AMD3100 (plerixafor) and an antitumor activator drug VIC-008 – significantly prolongs survival in mouse models of aggressive malignant mesothelioma.
